How an investment bank doubled off-market deals
A leading US investment bank, focused on early- and growth-stage transactions, finally found a single tool to unify its fragmented deal intelligence.

A mid-market UK M&A advisory firm turned time pressure into competitive advantage with our AI-powered deal origination.
Analysts spent 2–3 weeks on every deal just to:
Validate buyer theses
Build credible target lists
Benchmark comparables
Prepare valuation narratives
Identify early-stage risks
By the time they were ready, competitors had often already pitched. They didn’t lose because of skill—they lost because they weren’t first.
DealPotential transformed the front-end deal cycle:
Instant target maps filtered by financials, sector, geography, and strategic fit
Automated comps and valuation ranges generated in minutes, not days
Predictive exit signals surfaced off-market targets before competitors
Early-stage risk flags highlighted management changes, market weakness, and litigation
Single platform replaced six vendors, providing one source of truth
Research time cut from 2–3 weeks to same-day strategic readiness
Won 4 competitive mandates by being first with targets and valuation logic
Discovered 3 proprietary acquisition targets before competitors
Boosted margins by 30% by recovering massive analyst hours
Cut data vendor spend by 70%
“DealPotential turned us from reactive to proactive. Now we walk into client calls already knowing targets, comps, and valuation ranges. Clients immediately notice the difference,” said a Senior Partner.
Core takeaway: Speed wins deals. With proprietary intelligence delivered before due diligence begins, first movers capture the market.
