How a M&A advisory firm started winning competitive mandates faster
A mid-market UK M&A advisory firm turned time pressure into competitive advantage with AI-powered deal origination.

A UK private equity firm transformed its investment process by replacing weeks of manual research with AI-powered due diligence, now delivering results in under 10 minutes.
Before DealPotential, analysts spent the bulk of their day:
Googling companies, investors, and market news
Cross-checking multiple sources to verify financials and ownership
Copy-pasting data into spreadsheets to create risk summaries
Benchmarking comparables manually for valuations
Piecing together disconnected information to build investment theses
80% of their time went into collecting data, leaving only a fraction for actual analysis, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations. The team needed more than raw numbers—they needed actionable insights to guide partnerships, acquisitions, and exits.
When they ran their first diligence through DealPotential, the difference was immediate.
“We’d tried other AI tools before, but they all required tedious cross-checking. DealPotential just worked. Within minutes, we had a structured, ready-to-use due diligence view,” said the firm’s VP of Investments.
20× faster due diligence: 3 weeks of manual work condensed into a 10-minute AI analysis
Full risk coverage: Automated cross-verification of financial, operational, and market signals
Sharper strategic recommendations: Analysts focused on investment thesis, exit opportunities, and partnership synergies
Cost efficiency: One tool replaced multiple platforms, saving thousands per diligence
DealPotential helped the private equity firm move from reactive reviews to proactive, strategy-led decision-making.
Search, benchmarking, and list creation happen in seconds.
