The role:

As our Backend Developer, you’ll be the backbone of our platform—literally! We need a Ruby on Rails pro who can build, scale, and optimize the server-side logic that powers our world-class investment tools. You’ll be working closely with our front-end developers, product team, and data scientists to deliver features that are robust, efficient, and user-friendly.

What you'll do:

• Code like a pro: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Ruby on Rails code that’s ready to tackle complex challenges.
• Architect for success: Design and implement backend services and APIs that are fast, secure, and reliable.
• Collaborate and innovate: Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Optimize everything: Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize code to keep our platform lightning-fast.
• Stay ahead: Keep up with the latest tech trends and best practices to continuously improve our backend infrastructure.
• Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing elegant solutions that enhance our platform’s capabilities.

What we're looking for:

• Ruby on rails expert: You have solid experience with Ruby on Rails and a deep understanding of backend architecture.
• API aficionado: You’re skilled at building and maintaining RESTful APIs and have experience with JSON, XML, and other data formats.
• Database dynamo: You’re well-versed in SQL databases (like PostgreSQL) and know how to optimize queries and manage data.
• Security-savvy: You have a keen eye for security best practices and know how to protect data integrity and user privacy.
• Team player: You’re great at collaborating with cross-functional teams and can communicate effectively with both tech and non-tech colleagues.
